It’s weekend and after a long day at the office, you have to rush and prepare for a party at your place as decided a few days ago. Your colleagues will be joining you shortly. Well, you do not have enough time to prepare for it. So, here is a quick last minute checklist that won’t let your party creep on you!
Finish any last minute errands:
Check and recheck all your grocery, decor, drinks or any other requirements needed for your party. Make a list of everything that you need. Also, check washroom for toiletries. Thereafter, finish any last minute errands, well before the party begins. Since, you won’t have time to run out to the store later, so, finish off with this task beforehand.
Set your table ahead of time:
Depending upon your guest list, make arrangements for the crockery as well. Make sure that there are enough plates, napkins, cutlery and cups to go around. This will ensure that your table is set ahead of time.
Make sure the seating arrangement is well planned:
Since you are the host, it’s your responsibility to make sure that everybody is able to sit comfortably. For this, you need to confirm that you have enough chairs or bean bags or however you like it.
Check your playlist:
Have your playlist ready with party songs so that whenever your guest arrive you are ready to rock and roll.
Check on power and cash backup:
Things may not always go the way you’ve planned them. So, it’s advisable to be prepared for everything unexpected. Make sure you have a power backup so that the fun goes on even in the case of power failure. Also, keep extra cash with you because you never know what happens next!
Place plate trashcans:
You obviously don’t want your house to be left littered after a party. Cleaning up all that mess can be too tiring. So, place plate trash cans to avoid that mess.
Be ready way before the party begins:
There are always a few guests who arrive earlier than the decided time. So, make sure that you are ready at least 20-25 minutes prior to when the party starts.
Have a blast:
Since you have worked too hard, so now, just relax and enjoy the party to its fullest. Have a blast!
